Growing up in a famous family in Los Angeles California, Angelina Jolie sprung from her roots and made her own fame as an accomplished actress, fashion model, and good will ambassador. Keeping it in the family, Angelina performed her first film role in, Lookin' To Get Out a movie co-written by her father and starring both of her parents.

At age 11, Angelina enrolled in the Lee Strasberg Institute to study acting, but by age 12 decided to depart from her dream of acting to focus on a career as a funeral director. By the age of 14, Angelina signed with Finesse Model Management and modeled in the both the United States and Europe. While commissioned as a model, Angelina appeared in a variety of 1990s music videos for artists like Lenny Kravitz, The Lemmonheads, and Meatloaf.

While succumbing to the acting bug again, Angelina started making her mark as an accomplished actress with such films as Girl Interrupted, which won her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Angelina pursued her career with other films like Gone in 60 Seconds and Lara Croft Tombraider. Angelina adds a sort of spice to the acting world that cannot be bottled up. She garnered media attention for flamboyant actions while married to fellow actors, Jimmey Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton. Today she uses her innovative personality to help global causes, such as working as a United Nations Ambassador.

The Father - Jonathan Vincent Voight

Jon Voight is an academy award winning actor who reached acclaim with a wide range of roles in such films as Midnight Cowboy (1969), Deliverance (1972), and Coming Home (1978). His father Elmer Voytka changed his name to Voight and made a name as a professional golfer. Jon Voight's maternal grandfather immigrated from KoŇ°ice and worked in the coal mines of Shickshinny, Pennsylvania. Under the pen name of Chip Taylor, Jon's brother, Wes, pursued a career as a songwriter who is most noted for the song Wild Thing. Jon's other brother, Barry Voight, studied geology at Columbia University and assumed the position of volcanologist at the Pennsylvania State University.

The Mother - Marcia Lynne "Marcheline" Bertrand

Born into a French Canadian family, Marcheline Bertrand grew up within the confines of her family owned bowling alley. She studied under Lee Strasburg and exercised her acting chops in the film, Lookin' to Get Out in 1982, written by her first husband Jon Voight, and in The Man Who Loved Women in 1983. Left with raising her two children, Angelina and John, after divorcing Jon Voight, she took on small acting roles. In 2007, Marcheline died of Ovarian Cancer while undergoing treatment at Cedar Siani Medical Center. She is a descendent of Zacharie Cloutier, one of the first settlers of the region of Canada called Quebec.
